The first of serie 'Elements'
Air:
- is often seen as a universal power or pure substance. Its fundamental importance to life can be seen in words such as spirit, inspire, expire, and aspire
- the archangel of air is Raphael,
- is associated with the East, yellow, or pastel colors (some associate air with green or even a light blue.), woodwind instruments, mind, intellect, consciousness, study, communication., sunrise, childhood, spring, beginnings, birds, insects, flying creatures, many gods and goddesses, including Aradia, Athena, Hermes, Nuit, Shu, Thoth, and Zeus.
- people born under the astrological signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are thought to have dominant air personalities
This work was chosen as winner with 15 other fantastic pieces for exhibition of Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest 2007
I am extremely happy because of that!

There are several programs that are used to generate fratal images. This one was most likely made in Ultra Fractal (which is not free but fairly reasonable in price at least compared to say Photoshop). Another fractal generator which creates images with a differnt look is Apophysis. This one is free and readily available for download.
