Liquid or frozen? Silver or platinum?
-silverae- by =silwenka shines and glows like winter itself; an impossible flower full of incredible detail. And I promise, the rest of her gallery is just as mind-blowing. (

The first thing that catches the viewer's eye in this work is the strong predominance of monochrome, yet used with an almost never before seen mastery. Shades and light spots are rendered flawlessly, and with a preponderant taste for metallic gradients. This gives the fractal rose a solid appearance, making it look even more 3-dimensional than it would have been if it had been thought to be so.
The attention is then drawn to the core of the steel flower, from where the fractal shape develops. The spiral shape is very well camouflaged under layers of smooth petals, unfolding to the background in a top-down motion. The few, small hints of orange enhance the effect of dynamism greatly, as they literally set the fractal on fire, melting down the iron in a sort of primordial explosion, like a microscopic Big Bang.
All of that is wisely capped up by a wise usage of textures. Though at times a little too pronounced on the closer petals, they truly help in feeling the burst of energy this fractal radiates.
To sum it all up, Intentions is a most inspiring and creative work - just like most of =silwenka's gallery is.
